School
Sunday School includes all ages with supervised nurseries and classes beginning with 2 year old through kindergarten in the pre-school department, primary department for grades 1-3, junior department for grades 4-6, youth department for grades 7-12 and several adult classes offering a variety of Bible studies and fellowships. The groups meet at 9:30 AM every Sunday of the year.
Preaching and Teaching
The church worship services are at 10:30 AM and 6 PM each Sunday.The services usually include a Bible based message by one of the pastors as well as congregational singing and testimonies. On Wednesday at 6:30 PM there is a meeting for Bible discussion, missionary information and prayer.Grace Christian School of Mankato, Minnesota
Grace Christian School was founded in 1972 with a kindergarten class.The school presently offers K4-9th grade educational programs to Christian families in our community with combination elementary classooms . We also care for preschool-aged children in our Daycare faciility. We have sixl full-time teachers plus many volunteers who work with the 60+ students currently enrolled in the school. The educational program is Christ-centered and academically excellent.
We have 87 high school graduates from Grace Christian School.
Pastor Larry Johnson is our Administrator.
In 1979 we purchased a single family home at 1232 Highland Avenue adjacent to the campus of Minnesota State University at Mankato. The house provides a kitchen and lounge where students can relax, study, and develop relationships. Weekly Bible studies are provided in CSU Room 203 on Thursday evenings from 7-8 PM.
Awana Clubs
During the school year children are welcome to participate in the Awana Club program. There are approximately 32 club meetings for children from age 3 - grade 8. The meetings are scheduled at 6:30 PM on Wednesdays from September through May. More information can be obtained from the church office.
Missionary OutreachEach week our church program "I Believe In Miracles" is produced and aired on KEYC- TV at 10 AM on Sunday. This gospel telecast was started in February of 1961 and has completed 40 years of presenting a music and message format to plant the seed of God's Word in the homes throughout Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa. The program is supported by the church and assisted through contributions from churches of like faith and order throughout the viewing area. The program is also released on CCTV (ch 13) on the Mankato cable system as well as two other cable systems in the area: New Ulm and St. Peter.
