WELCOME  TIME

One week without church makes one weak! May you find strength, hope, and courage by opening up your spirit to God and His word today. As you enter the auditorium and read this paragraph, will you put out a welcome mat and invite the Holy Spirit to minister in our lives today?

SCRIPTURE
“Have faith in God. Verily I say unto you, that who ever shall say to this mountain, be removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatever he says. Therefore pray…..believe….receive.” Mark 11:22-24
THE CANDLE.
The candle in front of the pulpit in our church serves as a silent reminder to each of us to be about our Father’s business of proclaiming Christ to our world. The candle will be lit each time a soul is won for Christ.

At the same time, Pastor Nate and Lisa will meet with the youth in the basement for Bible study and games.

COOKING COMPETITION
This Saturday, March 13, is the Chili Cook-off. All who participate should sign up at the information table and plan to have chili at the church at 4:00 PM for judging. Everyone else can come join us to eat at 5:00 PM.

Next Sunday during the morning worship service we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.

REST AND RELAXATION

Pastor Larry and Sally plan to return from Texas later this week. Pastor Nate and Pastor Gus will be available for those who need pastoral care.

CHURCH FELLOWSHIP
Scott Ramsay will be moving to Texas the first part of April and we would like to give him a farewell fellowship Sunday, March 21, after the morning worship service. We would like each family to bring a main dish to pass and those whose names begin with A-M bring a dessert and those whose names begin with N-Z bring a salad.

CHANGE FOR LIFE
This is just a reminder for those who took a baby bottle to fill with change when Colleen Tronson was here representing the Metro Women’s Center, to bring them to the office when you have them filled. We will total all the coins that come in and send them a check. We have had one baby bottle full of change turned in to date.

GENTLE SHEPHERD MINISTRIES
You are invited to the spring banquet at Old Main Village in Mankato Tuesday, April 6, at 6:30 PM. You will hear testimonies of others who are involved with this ministry. Please make your reservations with Jerry David. Cost for the evening is $15.00 per person. You will find more information posted on the bulletin board.

LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY
“Discerning the Voice of God” is the topic for the ladies’ Bible study which will begin Tuesday, April 6, and will be at 7:00 PM at the home of Linda Hoogendyk each week. If you would like to participate in this 7 week study, be sure to give Linda a call at 625-1010 before March 24.

BOWLING NIGHT
We are having a bowling night for anyone 18 years and older at the Wow Zone Friday, March 26. Please sign up today so we know how many lanes we will need to reserve. The fun starts at 6:30 PM. See you there! You may address your questions to Joanne Schultz and Jackie Wilson.

AWANA
This Wednesday is Nickel Night at AWANA! Registration begins at 6:30 PM in the hallway by the office. Parents, this is a wonderful way to help fill your kids up with God’s Word!
